Start your journey

Kiting is a memorable adventure and that’s what we have the passion for.

From a complete beginner to an advanced level, we got you covered. We offer our lessons with the latest Duotone equipment and in different languages. As well, the lessons are either in private (one-to-one) or group lessons (one to max 3 students at a time).

As safety is our number one concern, all students are provided with the needed equipment (helmet, live jacket, wetsuit) to let learn and progress in a safe condition.

All our instructors are certified from IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) or VDWS (Verband Deutscher Wassersport Schulen) and consequently, your lessons are not only up to standards, but you also get a certificate after finishing your lessons.

Our Services

The Boat

Parked in the middle of crystal clear water, “The boat” has all you need.

From drinking water and hot and cold beverages to lunch, fruits, chocolates, and toilets, as well as fresh water for a quick shower. There’s an open radio connection between the boat and the zodiacs, in case of anything you would need. Furthermore, professional first aid kit is available as well.

The spot

To make your experience as memorable as possible we have a phenomenal spot in the middle of the water. Our big playground fits any number of people. It has the sand, shallow flat and deep water, and choppy water too if you are into that.

Rentals and Freeride

There is nothing worse than travelling all this way, eager to get on the water and only to realise that you forgot some of your gear at home, or the kite you brought isn’t suitable for the wind conditions. Maybe, you just completed your course, everything is still fresh in your mind and want to get those extra hours of practice on the water. Or maybe you found it too warm for the heavy wetsuit you brought with you, or you had a line break. Lots of maybes and things do happen!

Sun, wind and weather

Safaga and Somabay are almost sunny all year long (about 330 days of sun a year) despite whether we are in summer or winter.

At our platform, the wind direction is side offshore and wind is always stable, as we are in the middle of the sea so no wind obstacles around us.

The kite season’s peak starts from March and lasts until sweet November. From December to February is the winter season where the wind still blows and the sun shines, yet a wetsuit is preferable. Average water temperature is between 22°C-29°C along the year. Wind speed averages between 14-29 knots along the year.
