Safaga and Somabay are almost sunny all year long (about 330 days of sun a year) despite whether we are in summer or winter.
At our platform, the wind direction is side offshore and wind is always stable, as we are in the middle of the sea so no wind obstacles around us.
The kite season’s peak starts from March and lasts until sweet November. From December to February is the winter season where the wind still blows and the sun shines, yet a wetsuit is preferable. Average water temperature is between 22°C-29°C along the year. Wind speed averages between 14-29 knots along the year.
